Adam H. (IN A NUTSHELL)

Adam is a sophomore at Stanford University pursuing a degree in Political Science, and he also has academic interests in Computer Science and Philosophy. His love for politics started with the Model UN program at his middle school, and ever since he has pursued his passion though grassroots activism. He is a voting rights activist and has encouraged civic engagement by registering voters at his high school, concerts, and other community events. During the pandemic, he lobbied the Cal. State Assembly to lower the voting age, hosted webinars with local legislators, and created podcasts to educate the youth about political issues. Stanford, he is involved in Stanford Votes, In his free time, you’ll find Adam biking the streets of Los Angles (his hometown) or Palo Alto. He is a big believer in discussion-based learning and the Socratic method, and is excited to engage with students on political, societal, and philosophical problems.
