PRO TIP:

When evaluating whether a mentor would be a good match for your student keep in mind that the greatest leading indicator of success is how well a mentor and their mentee get along.

Questions to ask yourself:

  • Would the student find this person inspiring?
  • Do they share any interests, hobbies, or lived experiences?

Baker S. (IN A NUTSHELL)

I'm Baker! I recently graduated from Stanford University where I studied Computer Science with a minor in Education, and I have a deep passion for education and learning! I have been teaching or tutoring computer science topics since my first year of high school. I love letting learners lead their learning process, either by empowering them to choose project ideas that excite them or by connecting required learning concepts to their interests. When tutoring, I pull all my examples and problem ideas from the real world, so nothing will feel contrived. I would be thrilled to help you create your dream idea for an app or game, give you a boost on your projects or assignments, or maximize your preparations for an upcoming interview or exam.
