Danika L. (IN A NUTSHELL)
Dani Lyle is a recent Stanford graduate with a BA in Film and Media Studies (emphasis in screenwriting) and currently lives in LA. After spending her Stanford days as the Head Writer for Stanford’s premiere sketch comedy group, performing stand-up on campus, and working at the Sierra Camp as the Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator, Dani has moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in comedy and entertainment. She was involved in numerous identity groups while at Stanford (BlackStage, Multiracial Student Coalition, and BSU) and continues her love of highlighting underrepresented voices in her current job as a cultural sensitivity reader at an entertainment start-up. When she’s not connecting media companies to researchers and cultural experts, she loves making sketches with her friends and putting them on Tik Tok, baking, going to open-mics, planning elaborately themed dinner parties, and cooking up ideas for her next big film project. California raised (born in Los Gatos), Dani is a fan of hiking, beach-going, and pickle-balling at sunset. She knows how hard it can be to chase a creative passion alongside your studies (she’s been there!), and is passionate about helping students curate their voice, empower their dreams, and have fun!
