Dorrit C. (IN A NUTSHELL)

Dorrit is double concentrating in Literary Arts and Modern Culture and Media (Film Theory Track) at Brown University. At Brown, Dorrit sings in the Jabberwocks a cappella group, takes jazz voice lessons with a professor from Berklee College of Music, reads script submissions as a screenplay coordinator at Brown Motion Pictures, leads the screenplay team at Ivy Film Festival, writes for the Arts and Culture section of Post- Magazine, and serves as the Vice President of Brown Lecture Board. Dorrit has interned in film and television development at The Gotham Group and at Amblin Partners and worked as an executive assistant to producer Lynda Obst. She has also done grant/donation research for a Holocaust-themed independent short film, worked at a Christmas tree lot in LA, and worked on a mango farm in Colombia. Dorrit’s writing has appeared in Insider, the Jewish Journal, The College Hill Independent, and the Jewish Women’s Archive.
