Duncan E. (IN A NUTSHELL)

Duncan is a Senior at Harvard pursuing a concentration in History with a citation in Spanish. He is especially interested in 20th-century international relations, and has taught courses in European and American history in the past. At Harvard, Duncan is the former President of the Harvard Black Men’s Forum, an organization dedicated to promoting solidarity among the black men on campus. Duncan recently finished a semester in Stockholm, Sweden, where he took classes in Swedish language and culture, Swedish and Viking history, and philosophy. He also volunteered as a teacher at a local Swedish high school. During his free time in Europe, he also traveled to Holland, Latvia, Spain, Poland, and Iceland. At home, Duncan enjoys anything related to fitness and sports. His favorite activities include running and lifting weights, and he is a diehard mixed martial arts fan. He also enjoys reading modern literature and watching classic movies.
