Gia K. (IN A NUTSHELL)

Gia, a senior at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, is currently pursuing a major in Journalism and a double minor in Political Science and Business Institutions. Hailing from New York City, Gia went to Trinity School where she graduated in 2020. At Trinity, she was engaged in a number of academic and extracurricular activities and was a recipient of The Class of 1995 Spirit Award and the Faculty Award in her senior year. She currently studies at Northwestern where she has repeatedly made Medill's Dean's List. On campus, Gia is an alto in X-Factors acapella, a member of Women in Business, and is on the business team for Spoon University, a food literary magazine. Most of all, she is passionate about working with her mentees to help them create something they're proud of!
