PRO TIP:

When evaluating whether a mentor would be a good match for your student keep in mind that the greatest leading indicator of success is how well a mentor and their mentee get along.

Questions to ask yourself:

  • Would the student find this person inspiring?
  • Do they share any interests, hobbies, or lived experiences?

Gregory K. (IN A NUTSHELL)

21 y/o Sophomore | San Francisco native | speaks German and Spanish (fluent), Russian and Italian (limited), French (beginning) | big reader (currently: The Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie)

I have a varied background, having worked for years in interior design and real estate, marketing, social media management, and some programming in the startup scene. I owe a lot of my success to the mentors I had in high school, ones who knew how to balance hand-holding with the ability to challenge me, pushing me out of my comfort zone and onto the track to becoming the person I am today.

I'm super passionate about helping people succeed in any capacity, especially academically!

Some things I care about and can help with:

> boosting college and job applications

> youth mentorship

> essay writing

> Python, C, C++ programming

> Spanish and German languages

> navigating gap years

Some things to ask me about:

> multilingualism and linguistic relativism

> machine learning and AI Safety

> my favorite authors

> religious texts
