Harnoor S. (IN A NUTSHELL)

Harnoor is a Management Science and Engineering Major at Stanford interested in working in Finance after college. In high school he studied abroad through the Kennedy Lugar YES Abroad program, living in Malaysia for a year with a native host family. He interned with the Malaysian Ministry of Finance, researching refugee populations. He also interned with the Ghanaian Ministry of Finance, an experience which led to his interest in global investment and development. Harnoor was a four time national champion in figure skating as well as a ranked tennis player. At Stanford he is active in a number of clubs, whether competing against Cal in Club Tennis or investing part of the Stanford endowment through his involvement in the Blyth Fund. No matter the age, Harnoor believes everyone is a student, yearning to learn more about the world around them. In his free time he loves driving mountain roads, playing Madden with friends, and spending time on the golf course.
