Harshvardhan S. (IN A NUTSHELL)

My goal is to build technology and businesses that help make a dent in solving the climate problem.

I studied Mechanical Engineering at Duke to learn how to build technology and then worked as a business strategy consultant at McKinsey to learn business

I am currently building a startup that transforms agriculture waste to sustainable chemicals and materials using some cool tech (essentially giant microwaves that make plasma, same stuff the sun is made off!!). I'd say its very cool but in reality it gets quite hot :)

In my free time, I hike, perform improv, play tennis, and make dad jokes (as you can tell)

GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT (SO FAR)

Starting a sustainable cooling company. We built an affordable and sustainable way for farmers in India/Africa to keep their product fresh to half food waste and double they incomes. We were a top 10 team out of 100,000 at the Hult Prize, raised $50k to prove out the concept and I got a chance to meet Bill Clinton
