John is pursuing a major in Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He became passionate about the space after he was introduced to real estate investing by his older brother. Learning about the process of buying and selling houses, and the financing strategies used in order to facilitate these transactions left him interested to delve even deeper into the subject. He currently pursues his passions through investment banking, with a future goal of entering into private equity. He has been tutoring for over 4 years and grew up in both Jamaica and the United States. His subjects of expertise range from 4th-12th grade math, in addition to finance. He has played soccer since he was four, playing at the development academy level during his high school years. He currently plays club soccer at school, which he loves. He brings an open-minded perspective to the table when dealing with his students. He is more than excited to work with you to help you achieve your goals. In his free time, he loves to read motivational novels such as Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, which taught him how physical action combined with positive thoughts and ample persistence makes the path to one's dreams open up. His friends describe him as outgoing and passionate, once he sets his mind on a task, he's determined to finish it.
