PRO TIP:

When evaluating whether a mentor would be a good match for your student keep in mind that the greatest leading indicator of success is how well a mentor and their mentee get along.

Questions to ask yourself:

  • Would the student find this person inspiring?
  • Do they share any interests, hobbies, or lived experiences?

EDUCATION

- 2023 • Stanford UniversityStanford, California
I am passionate about mentoring students in the areas of Product Design, Computer Science, Pre-Algebra, K-5 Grade Math, Algebra I, and Coding / Programming.

Max H. (IN A NUTSHELL)

Max is currently a senior at Stanford finishing his undergraduate degree in Product Design Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science, and beginning his master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a concentration in product realization and manufacturing. Though he loves many types of design, his favorite is physical design and he enjoys making anything from toys to robots to 3D printed clothing (his latest project this summer)! Following an idea from ideation, into prototyping, and finally through realization is always such a fun/rewarding process and he loves to share that passion with others. You can find some of his latest work at "MaxHarris.Webflow.io". Outside of academics, Max is involved in theater on campus (he is a huge musical theater nerd), the Stanford Drag Troupe, research involving the aesthetics of motion, and is a Stanford tour guide.
