Max S. (IN A NUTSHELL)

Max is a recent graduate from Harvard College where he majored in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology. From Belmont, MA, Max has been playing piano for 19 years and saxophone for 10 (alto, tenor, and baritone). He was the two-time captain and sprinter on the Harvard Varsity Track and Field team, co-president of the Harvard Half-Asian People’s Association, and a team leader for Harvard’s music outreach program MIHNUET. Max was also an undergraduate researcher in the Melton Lab, investigating insulin-secreting cells to study and treat Type I diabetes. He has extensive tutoring experience across all subjects, and founded a tutoring company over the pandemic.
