Onyinyechi O. (IN A NUTSHELL)
Onyinyechi is a Junior at Dartmouth College majoring in History and Neuroscience with a concentration in Global Health. Born in the United States, she was raised and currently resides in Ontario, Canada. She loves getting to know new people and making everyone feel welcome. During her high school years, Onyinyechi played basketball, flag football, badminton, and track and field. Beyond sports, Onyinyechi was actively involved in global health work and helped facilitate a program for students throughout the world to build health initiatives in their local communities, conduct case studies, and compose health narratives. With her high school chemistry teacher, she formed a close bond and often shared a playful sense of humor, pulling pranks on each other. Achieving the title of valedictorian of her graduating class, Onyinyechi continues to give back, offering guidance and support to high school students as they navigate their own journeys. You can also always catch her watching a cappella shows, a habit she picked up at Dartmouth. Onyinyechi is dedicated to helping others and has started a club to provide mentorship and support to pre-med/pre-health students on her campus. By providing them with hands-on experience, volunteer opportunities, and access to medical mentors. With her passion and dedication, Onyinyechi is poised to make a lasting impact on the lives of those she touches in the Curious Cardinals Classrooms.
