PRO TIP:

When evaluating whether a mentor would be a good match for your student keep in mind that the greatest leading indicator of success is how well a mentor and their mentee get along.

Questions to ask yourself:

  • Would the student find this person inspiring?
  • Do they share any interests, hobbies, or lived experiences?

Snigdha V. (IN A NUTSHELL)

Snigdha is an engineer at Boeing where she works as a satellite systems engineer in the space sector. She also recently graduated from the University of Southern California in the Spring of 2022 with a B.S. in Astronautical Engineering and plans on getting her M.S. in Product Development also at USC. Some unique things she has done have included partaking in some NASA programs and building a rocket part that ended up making it to space! In the future, she wants to work on sending humans to the moon, mars, and beyond. She is super passionate about teaching math, engineering + space concepts, physics, and more. Additionally, she loves to play tennis, watch TV shows, try new foods/cook, and travel. One of her favorite sights to see has been the Taj Mahal in India! She also loves to write and paint to destress but definitely is no artist. As a mentor, her mission is to interact with young minds and remind them that learning does not have any limits. Creativity is difficult to sustain as people grow but with the fusion of technology and learning, the possibilities are endless.
